Notes

Thought I could try out a quick thing during the time my newborn daughter was asleep, but I fell sick, so I had to sleep more instead.

I plan to revisit the idea properly, but message me, or make a post under this page if you do try a similar idea at some point. I'm curious.

Game idea

You are a vampire *scaling* a spire during a never-ending day

You can pull out blocks to serve as protection from the rotating sun, and as platforms.

Watch-out, as a structure can never quite protect from all angles, without impeding your climb.

Actual Game

I tried a first implementation in Godot, but as I fell sick and was taking care of my newborn, I tried to make a smaller thing. Instead, I restarted a quick thing in PuzzlescriptNext in the last few hours of the last day. Looks like I got rusty in Puzzlescript, as I couldn't get neither the light filling, nor the jumping right in time.

Sorry, there is not much to play at all, but at least there is a bud of something interesting to explore at a later date.

Thanks for checking out my page, sorry to disapoint ^^""""""""

Controls

Left click - Pull out a block (that can block light rays)

WASD or arrow keys - Move your character around,

 Z - undo moves

 R - restart

Gameplay Notes

flighting straight up is possible and might be the only way to finish the current level.

The sun currently only goes straight up, and sends 2 rays side ways

The exit is currently destroyed by the rays but should not.
